Hi Everyone,

We wanted to check in since it’s been a little while since our last update. After a lot of back and forth, we’ve finally approved and signed off on the digital proofs. Now, we’re moving on to the next step: reviewing physical color proof sheets and our white box proof.

For some context, we went through a total of seven rounds of revisions during the digital proofing process. While this isn’t unusually high, it did take more time than we initially expected.

At this point, all issues that have been raised have been addressed, and we’re now waiting for the physical proofs. Once we receive and approve those, we’ll kick off mass production. After that, we’ll be able to provide more concrete timeline estimates from the manufacturer, which we’ll share with you along with some photos of the proofs.

Hi all,

We were planning on charging cards for pre-orders and additional items in the pledge manager yesterday, however there is a technical issue on the back end that we need to resolve with Backerkit.  

Cards haven't been charged yet, you didn't miss anything, hopefully this is resolved soon.

Hi All,

Today is the day, All Pre-orders have been locked and late pledges are closed.

We are also locking backer orders today, however incomplete surveys will have another 48 hours to complete.  Note: this is just the order that's locking, you will still be able to update shipping address

Next Milestone:
September 4th - Methods of Payment are Charged.

Hi all,

As we draw closer to the end of the proofing phase, we are getting very close to starting mass production. 

Before we can slam the huge print button, we need to lock down the counts and orders.  This is your reminder that the pledge manager will be closing in 3 days on August 31st 2024. 

At that time you will no longer be able to update your order or add more items, so please make sure you have everything in there that you want.  Note: you will still be able to update your shipping address after orders are locked, until we get closer to shipping.

4 days after orders are locked, all methods of payment will be charged.  Whatever method of payment you added to your order will be charged on September 4th, 2024.  (you will not be charged shipping at this time, but closer to when your order ships).

Less than 1 month later on October 1st we will lock down addresses, so make sure your address is up to date before then.  We will make sure to post reminders prior to all of these events.

So, Here is a round up of all the milestones you need to be aware of:

August 31st : Orders are Locked, no more orders after this date
September 4th: Methods of Payment will be charged
October 1st: Addresses Locked Down
Prior to Shipping Wave 1: You will be charged shipping.

Again, we will send out more reminders as we get closer to each of these milestones.

Hey all,

Sorry for the delay in updates, back to school season has all the dads on the team very busy, but I want to take some time now, to respond to a question that has been asked a few times since our last update.

Many people have been asking if it's possible to wait for wave 2 to receive their pledges.  The answer is yes, we will allow for you to wait for wave 2 if you would like to get your pledge all in one shipment.  An exact method for you to let us know you would like to wait will be coming shortly.

We are wrapping up the changes needed to our files this week and will hopefully be able to share some updates and images of our proofs soon.
